The two-story timbered house with brick nog built on a brick pedestal is located on a little hill off Hamelner Straße. Artist Karl Junker designed the house and had it built by the master carpenter Karl Schirneker of Lemgo and his colleagues.

The house’s floor plan is square with each side 9.46 meters long and has four facades, which are axially symmetric. The many windows around the house are particularly striking.

The abundant carved ornaments give the house its unique look. The carving covers the facades like stucco and gives them a stringent symmetrical structure with pilasters, beams and cornices.
