Karl Junker’s artistic works contain over 200 paintings – predominantly oil paintings on a wooden carrier. In a large number of his paintings, the picture and frame form an artistic unit. In line with Junker’s style, the frames are carved and colored.

The oil paintings and gouaches illustrate themes of the Christian world as well as mythological iconography. In addition, there are landscape and architectural paintings and portraits. Numerous wall and ceiling paintings of the Junkerhaus are also included in Junker’s painted work.
