The furniture in the Junkerhaus has a crafty quality of its own. Karl Junker designed and built the furniture, sometimes making use of existing pieces.

Classic types of furniture such as chests of drawers, closets, escritoires, nightstands, desks and chairs are combined with extraordinary pieces such as the throne in the studio.

The representative pieces of furniture in the parlor and in the living room feature elaborate carving with illustrations of the Christian iconography: a coronation of Mary on an escritoire, a crucifixion on a closet and a depiction of Jesus Christ with the Arma Christi after he had been taken off the cross on the top of a chest.
